So you might have found an incredibly cool product on our website, and seen two different prices. That can be confusing. We'd love to explain!
Almost every product shows the original price, and a strike-through price. This strike-through price can either be the recommended retail price or a deal. Why is there a different price shown in the first place? That's because we always want to be open and honest about the prices of our products.
What is the recommended retail price?
It is, as the name suggests, the recommended or suggested retail price as determined by the manufacturer or supplier. Often, the price of a product is slightly lower on the market, which is why we undercut the recommended prices (as far as possible).
You will only see this price when you're looking at a specific product, and it's shown by the acronym: 'MSRP', which stands for Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price.
How can you tell when it's a deal?
Of course, everyone can use a good deal! Deals have a 'was/is now' price. With deals, the 'was' price that is shown is always the lowest price at which the product was sold in the 30 days prior to the deal.
With deals, there is no recommended retail price.
