Has your wooden cutting board warped or cracked? It's only covered by warranty if you can show that you maintained the board according to all the steps.
Why does wood move?
Wood is a natural material. A wooden cutting board is kind to your knives and looks great, but it needs maintenance: cleaning and regular oiling.
Oil does two things. It keeps juices out of the board, preventing mould and bacteria from getting in. It also reduces movement in the wood, so the board is less likely to warp. Read how to maintain a wooden cutting board.
Think there's a defect in the wood or finish?
Think the problem is due to a manufacturing or material defect, rather than use? We're happy to help. Send us photos of the board and describe exactly how you've maintained and used it. Our specialist will assess it and let you know the next step as quickly as possible.
