If your Leatherman is broken because of a fault in the material or finish, it's covered by the 25-year limited warranty. Send us a photo of the break so we can assess it.
What does the Leatherman warranty cover?
Leatherman makes its products to last. If your tool breaks because of a fault in the material or finish, it's covered by the 25-year limited warranty. Damage caused by improper use isn't covered. For example, if the blade breaks while you're using it to open a tin of paint, the warranty won't cover it.
Not covered by warranty?
You may still have an option: you could get a refurbished multi-tool at a good price. We'll always discuss this with you first.
Can I get a spare part?
No. Leatherman doesn't supply spare parts. Taking your Leatherman product apart voids the warranty. That's why the screws have an unusual shape: they can only be loosened with a special Torx screwdriver. So you can't replace an individual spare part.
How to report it
It's often quickest to make your warranty claim directly with Leatherman. The process varies by country: see Leatherman's warranty page. Prefer to go through us? Send a photo that clearly shows the inside of the break. Read how to make a warranty claim to find out what else we need. Report it using the contact form.
