We are sorry to hear that your pan has warped (hollow or convex) and is therefore not as easy to use.
There are a number of things you need to take into account when using pans to make sure they won't warp. The main thing is major differences in temperature, think of quickly heating up (this often happens with induction) or quickly cooling down because (cold) water is poured in a hot pan. Because of the 'shock' the steel will warp. Especially large (sheet steel) pans are sensitive to this.
Another problem we sometimes run into is that a pan was on the fire too long without being used for food prep. The pan cannot get rid of the heat and the temperature will become too high. The result is that the pan will warp or even break.
Even though this, of course, is very inconvenient, these examples are not a part of the warranty.
Do you feel that these examples do not apply to your pan? No problem, we will help you out! We love to receive the following information to do so:
- If you haven't sent them yet, some photographs of the problem
- How do you use the pan (season, clean etc.)?
- When and how did the problem emerge?
After receiving the answers, our specialist will look into all information and decide what the next step is.
